Meat pizza with mushrooms and red onion

Ingredients

  • Water 10 fl oz
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Italian chopped parsley 0 oz
  • Salt a pinch
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Lean Beef 5 oz
  • Spanish onions ½ piece
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 0 oz
  • Potato 1 piece
  • Pork Mince 5 oz
  • Spiced Tomato Juice 6 tablespoons
  • Melted Cheese 5 oz
  • Dill 0 oz
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Fresh Mushrooms 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients: dough, tomato sauce to your taste (I used spicy), fresh champignons, tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, garlic, olive oil, dill, and parsley, grated cheese (I used mozzarella).

Step 2

Sauté the ground meat with onion and garlic, adding a little olive oil.

Step 3

Add the tomato sauce.

Step 4

Mix it and let it simmer a bit; this will create the meat sauce, the main ingredient of our pizza.

Step 5

I suggest frying the mushrooms right away so we don't have to return to the stove later. The mushrooms could be sautéed together with the meat, but I chose to do it differently; they are mainly for decoration and aroma. Sauté until golden brown, adding a little olive oil and salt.

Step 6

Now we get to the dough; it needs to be stretched by hand in the pizza baking pan. Do this carefully, sprinkling with flour and pressing with your palms, as the dough is quite thin.

Step 7

Spread and distribute the meat sauce.

Step 8

Slice the tomato and arrange it in the pan.

Step 9

Cut the bell pepper into rings and place it on top of the tomatoes.

Step 10

Sprinkle half of the cheese on our pizza.

Step 11

Cut the red onion into not too small pieces; for aroma, juiciness, and to make the pizza look more cheerful, I decided to place it above the cheese layer.

Step 12

Now we get to the champignons; to ensure they don't get lost in the filling, I also placed them on top.

Step 13

Sprinkle the remaining half of the cheese on the pizza and send it to a preheated oven at 220 °C for 10-15 minutes, until ready. I recommend placing the pizza slightly below the center rack, as the main filling is already cooked; we just need to bake the dough, melt the cheese, and slightly roast the vegetables.

Step 14

After taking the pizza out of the oven, sprinkle it with finely chopped dill and parsley. That's it, the pizza is ready. Enjoy your meal!
