Pasta and Pizza • Italian
Description
Everything is ready, enjoy your meal!
Ingredients
- Ready-made dry lasagna sheets 10 pieces
- Ground meat 25 oz
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Passata Tomato Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Vinegar essence 1 teaspoon
- Milk 10 fl oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 3 tablespoons
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 15 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a hot skillet, place the ground meat (for a less fatty lasagna, it's better to mix with chicken meat, but pork and beef also taste great) and sauté until half-cooked for about 20 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the tomatoes and chop them finely, then add them to the meat.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, mix sugar, tomato paste, and vinegar in boiling water, combine everything, and pour it into the meat.
Step 4
Add salt and pepper.
Step 5
Simmer for another 10 minutes and turn off the heat.
Step 6
Simultaneously, prepare the sauce.
Step 7
In a hot pot, pour in the flour and add the butter.
Step 8
When the butter melts, add the milk and cream, stirring constantly, and turn off the heat a minute before it boils.
Step 9
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.
Step 10
Grate the cheese using a coarse grater.
Step 11
Preheat the oven to 430°F.
Step 12
In the boiling water, drop 3 lasagna sheets for 2 minutes.
Step 13
Take a baking tray and immediately place the lasagna sheets on it using a slotted spoon, filling the entire space of the tray (I can fit 2.5 sheets).
Step 14
Spread the meat mixture around the perimeter.
Step 15
Using a ladle, pour some sauce on top, not too much.
Step 16
Sprinkle with cheese.
Step 17
Repeat this for another 2-3 layers, depending on the availability of ingredients (I made three layers).
Step 18
In the last layer, after the cheese, place lasagna sheets over the entire surface again.
Step 19
Pour more sauce on top, but do not drown it!
Step 20
Add cheese on top.
Step 21
Cover the baking tray with foil and place it in the oven for 30 minutes at 390°F.
Step 22
After 30 minutes, remove the foil and let the crust brown for another 15 minutes.
