Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
  • Parsnip 1 piece
  • Turnips 2 pieces
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Cream 22% to taste
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Ground Nutmeg a pinch
  • Coarse Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the vegetables and cut them into small pieces. Transfer to a saucepan. Add cream to cover the vegetables completely. Bring to a boil and cook for about 10–15 minutes until soft. Drain, reserving the cream.

Step 2

Return the vegetables to the pot and add the egg, butter, and 0.25 cup of cream. Mash well with a potato masher until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Add more cream if necessary. Serve immediately.
