Ingredients

  • Garlic 1 head
  • Potato 0 lbs
  • Frozen green bean pods 15 oz
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Sour Cream 3 spoons
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the unpeeled head of garlic on a greased baking tray. Roast in the oven for 20–30 minutes.

Step 2

Boil the peeled potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes. Before the cooking time is up, add the frozen peas and turn off the heat.

Step 3

Drain the water from the potatoes, add butter, sour cream, and peeled garlic. Season with pepper (and salt, if needed). Mash using a potato masher.

Step 4

Serve hot as a side dish.
