Ingredients
- Salad Potatoes 5 lbs
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Dijon Mustard 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the potatoes in a pot of boiling salted water. Cook until tender, about 35-45 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat the milk and add the butter. Stir until the butter melts. Remove from heat, cover, and keep warm.
Step 3
Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly. Peel and transfer to a large bowl. Add the mustard, salt, and pepper to taste, along with a quarter of the hot milk. Mash with a potato masher until smooth, adding more milk until you reach a creamy consistency.
