
Marinated Beef Tongue

Description
If you don't like the brown hue in the finished product, you can substitute balsamic vinegar with white wine vinegar.
Ingredients
- Garlic 1 head
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Beef tongue 1 piece
- Balsamic Vinegar 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the beef tongue until tender. When boiling, add a whole carrot, an onion, celery, salt, peppercorns, and bay leaf to the water.
Step 2
Slice the boiled tongue.
Step 3
Rub each piece with garlic, pour balsamic vinegar over it, and tightly pack it in a marinating container.
Step 4
Leave for 4–8 hours.
Step 5
Then place parchment paper on a baking sheet, grease it with vegetable oil, and lay the tongue on it; bake until browned.
