- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Onion 4 heads
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper ¼ teaspoon
- Ground clove 12 pieces
- Salt 1½ teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the water, vinegar, sugar, thinly sliced lemon, finely chopped onion, cloves, bay leaf, black pepper, and salt. Stir well and let sit at room temperature for 2 hours.
Step 2
Add the meat to the bowl, mix, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2-3 days, stirring each day. Before grilling, leave at room temperature for 4 hours.
