Ingredients
- Star anise 2 pieces
- Chicken Egg 8 pieces
- Soy Sauce 3 spoons
- Salt ½ spoons
- Black tea 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the eggs in a pot with cold water, put it on the heat, bring the water to a gentle boil, and then cook the eggs for twelve minutes.
Step 2
Once the eggs are boiled, allow them to cool by placing them in cold water. Then gently roll the eggs on the table to slightly crack the shells.
Step 3
Place the cracked eggs in a pot of water (the water should just cover them), add dark soy sauce, salt, tea bags, and star anise. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer gently for two hours. After removing the eggs from the heat, let them sit in the broth for eight hours.
Step 4
Serve peeled, with green onions and coarse sea salt.
