Mango parfait with white chocolate yogurt
Ingredients
- Mango 1 piece
- Vanilla salt 4 teaspoons
- White Chocolate 5 oz
- Green tea powder 1 teaspoon
- Natural Yogurt 1½ cups
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the mango, remove the pit, and cut it into cubes.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the mango cubes with 2 teaspoons of sugar. Let it sit for half an hour.
Step 3
Melt the chocolate in a water bath. To do this, fill a saucepan one-third full with water and place it over medium heat. Bring the water to a boil and place another saucepan on top, ensuring the bottom of the upper saucepan does not touch the water. Place the chocolate in the upper saucepan and stir until melted. Remove from heat, whisk a little, and let it cool slightly. Gradually mix in the yogurt, one tablespoon at a time, while whisking. Transfer the chocolate yogurt to a separate bowl.
Step 4
In a separate dish, mix the green tea powder, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of hot water until it forms a paste. Add the paste to the chocolate yogurt and mix well.
Step 5
Place the mango cubes at the bottom of serving glasses. Top with the yogurt mixture, cover the glasses with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2–3 hours before serving.
