It's easy to make, delicious, and most importantly, it won't harm your figure. For a fuller flavor, garnish with a pinch of grated Parmesan. For this recipe, it's best to use Barilla 'Girandole-Torsades' pasta.
Ingredients
- Pasta (corkscrew) 5 oz
- Oregano a pinch
- Basil to taste
- Baking Tomatoes 5 oz
- Paprika to taste
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Ocean salt to taste
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions.
Step 2
In a heated skillet with olive oil, sauté the tomatoes over high heat, add a pinch of salt (to taste), then add oregano, paprika, and basil.
Step 3
Add the rinsed pasta to the skillet with the simmering tomatoes, pour in the tomato juice (generously), mix everything, and let the pasta 'finish cooking' over low heat for 3-5 minutes.
