Linguine with Chicken and Pesto
Ingredients
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 15 oz
- Fresh basil leaves 0 oz
- Fresh basil leaves ½ cup
- Parsley 0 oz
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Parmesan Cheese 5 oz
- Pistachios 0 oz
- Cream 1 cup
- Milk ½ cup
- Green Tagliatelle Pasta 10 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken into small pieces and sauté in 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet until cooked through. Set aside.
Step 2
Wash the herbs and remove the stems. Press the garlic through a garlic press. Grate the Parmesan cheese.
Step 3
Start cooking the linguine according to the package instructions.
Step 4
Blend the basil, oregano, parsley, garlic, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, olive oil, cream, and milk in a blender.
Step 5
Add the blended mixture to the chicken in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and heat the chicken together with the sauce.
Step 6
Serve with the cooked linguine, garnished with grated Parmesan and pine nuts on top.
