Description
It is very important that the cottage cheese is smooth and without lumps. I use 0.5% fat cottage cheese. They can be served with sour cream, honey, or berry syrup.
Ingredients
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 8 tablespoons
- Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Buttermilk 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, beat the eggs.
Step 2
Gradually mix in the buttermilk.
Step 3
Add the cottage cheese and mix again until there are no lumps.
Step 4
Add the flour to the mixture, stirring constantly. The batter should have a consistency similar to sour cream, not too thick.
Step 5
Let the batter rest for 15–20 minutes.
Step 6
Cook covered in a small frying pan with a little oil, carefully spreading the batter over the entire surface of the pan.
