Ingredients
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Leafy Mustard 0 lbs
- Water 0.6 cups
- Green Apples 2 pieces
- Apple Cider Vinegar 2 tablespoons
- Dijon Mustard 4 teaspoons
- Brown Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the leafy greens to yield about 20 cups.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a skillet, add the greens, and sauté, stirring, for 1 minute. Then pour in the water, cover, and cook for another 3 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, slice the apples thinly. Add them to the greens, cover, and cook for another 10 minutes until the greens are tender.
Step 4
In the meantime, in a small bowl, mix the vinegar, mustard, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Pour the mixture into the greens, increase the heat, and cook for 3-4 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates.
