Lazy Spaghetti Bolognese
Pasta and Pizza • Italian
Description
For making Bolognese, you can use the ground meat that was used to clarify the broth in the recipe for consommé — in this case, you do not need to add onion, celery, and carrot.
Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Lean Beef 20 oz
- Celery stalk 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Baking Tomatoes 15 oz
- Spaghetti 20 oz
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
So, if you have any leftover minced meat after making the consomme, simply take a deep skillet, heat some olive oil in it, lightly sauté the minced meat, add chopped tomatoes, and simmer on low heat for about fifteen minutes. If the sauce becomes too thick, you can add water, broth, or tomato juice. Season with salt and pepper at the end.
Step 2
If you don't have prepared minced meat, finely chop the vegetables and lightly sauté them together with the meat. After that, add the tomatoes — and so on.
Step 3
While the sauce is cooking, boil the spaghetti in salted water, then toss it with the sauce and serve.
