Layered Tuna Tartare

Ingredients

  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Tuna 10 oz
  • Pickles 1 piece
  • Scallions 1 bunch
  • Olive Oil 0 fl oz
  • Soy Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Honey 1½ teaspoons
  • Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
  • Balsamic Vinegar 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Prepare the marinade for the tuna. Mix honey with mustard, add soy sauce and balsamic vinegar, and gradually pour in the olive oil while stirring constantly.

Step 2

Cut the tuna fillet (steak) into small cubes and place it in the marinade, allowing it to marinate at room temperature for about 15–20 minutes.

Step 3

Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds and core, and dice it into small squares (like the tuna).

Step 4

Dice the cucumber into small cubes as well.

Step 5

Chop the green onion finely.

Step 6

Layer the tuna, bell pepper, cucumber, and green onion on a plate (or in a mold). Top with finely chopped green onion. Drizzle with the remaining marinade before serving.
