Description

A quick, simple, and versatile appetizer that will feel at home both on a festive table and as a daily snack. Instead of cream cheese, you can use rich homemade cottage cheese, and instead of crab sticks, opt for smoked salmon. Feel free to experiment with herbs: for trout or salmon, for example, green onions work well instead of dill. You can enjoy the rolls right away, but it's best to leave them in the fridge overnight—the ingredients will meld together and soak into the lavash.
