Laura's Herring Salad
Ingredients
- Lightly Salted Red Fish 2 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
- Shallot 2 heads
- Lemon 1 piece
- Sverdlovsk Roll 2 pieces
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Cucumbers 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the shallots.
Step 2
Remove the crusts from the Sverdlovsk rolls. Tear them into small pieces and soak in milk. Mix well and let it steep for 5-10 minutes.
Step 3
Finely chop the cucumber.
Step 4
Chop the herring roughly. Add the soaked bread and butter to the chopped herring. Mix everything until homogeneous. Add shallots and lemon juice to taste. Stir again.
Step 5
Place the cucumbers and the prepared mixture on the Borodinsky bread.
