Description

Lasagne alla bolognese

Ingredients

  • Lean Beef 10 oz
  • Onion ½ head
  • Celery salt 1 piece
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Lasagna dough 12 pieces
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 2 tablespoons
  • Melted Cheese 5 oz
  • Oregano a pinch
  • Nutmeg a pinch
  • Salt a pinch
  • Béchamel sauce 5 fl oz
  • Milk 5 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper a pinch
  • Potato 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Chop the meat into pieces the size of buckwheat (you can use ground meat), sauté with butter (1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of clarified butter) over high heat for 3–5 minutes.

Step 2

Dice the vegetables, sauté them with butter in the same pan over medium heat until the onion is soft, add the tomato, sauté over high heat for a couple of minutes, sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour in the milk, let it absorb into the sauce, and stir.

Step 3

Boil the lasagna sheets in salted boiling water until they float, remove from the boiling water, transfer to ice water for a couple of minutes, and dry between two paper towels.

Step 4

Cut the mozzarella into small cubes. Grease a baking dish with butter and béchamel sauce; layer 1 sheet of pasta, meat sauce, béchamel, mozzarella, and parmesan, then add 3 more layers in the same order (the top layer should be béchamel and cheese). Bake in the oven at 390°F for 20–25 minutes.
