Description
The wheat should be soft and tender.
Ingredients
- Buckwheat Groats 2 glasses
- Walnuts 0 oz
- Honey 5 oz
- Light Raisins, Seedless 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the wheat and soak it in cold water overnight. In the morning, without draining the water, add 3 more cups of water to the wheat and simmer on low heat for 3 hours.
Step 2
Soak the raisins and nuts in boiling water and let them sit for 30 minutes to swell.
Step 3
Chop the nuts finely and add them to the cooked wheat.
Step 4
Add honey and raisins to the mixture.
Step 5
Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 6
It can be served hot or cold.
