Description
Homemade minced meat is preferable (a mixture of beef and pork).
Ingredients
- Potato 8 pieces
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Onion 1 head
- Wheat Flour 3 spoons
- Salt to taste
- Veal Mince 5 oz
- Sour Cream to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the potato and onion using a fine grater.
Step 2
Crush the garlic.
Step 3
Add the eggs, salt, and flour to the potato mixture. Stir until well combined.
Step 4
Check the minced meat - it should not be dry. Add salt and pepper to it. If necessary, include a spoonful of sour cream and boiling water.
Step 5
Heat a skillet with vegetable oil.
Step 6
Lower the heat to the minimum and spoon a tablespoon of the batter onto a hot skillet (you can slightly squeeze the batter if it's too runny) and flatten it into a neat pancake.
Step 7
Place the filling on top of the crepe and spread it out, then cover the filling with another layer of batter.
Step 8
Once the bottom is nicely browned, flip it over and cook until done.
Step 9
Do the same with the remaining ingredients. Place the finished dumplings on paper towels.
Step 10
Serve the dumplings with sour cream.
