Kefir Pancakes with Red Caviar
Ingredients
- Kefir 3 cups
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 0 oz
- Safflower Oil 2 tablespoons
- Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with sugar until a foam appears on the surface.
Step 2
Mix the kefir with baking soda and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the flour and kefir to the eggs, mix well to avoid lumps (I pour the kefir slowly, in portions).
Step 4
Add the vegetable oil.
Step 5
Using a ladle, pour a portion of the batter onto a hot frying pan. It is best to use a special frying pan with a thin bottom and a non-stick coating for this purpose. Brown the pancake on both sides.
Step 6
Place the pancake on a plate and spread it with butter. Repeat with each pancake. Serve with red caviar.
