Italian pizza with mozzarella cheese
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Olive Oil 7 tablespoons
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Water 5 fl oz
- Tomatoes 5 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves 0 oz
- Melted Cheese 5 oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in 100 ml of warm water, add 2 tablespoons of flour, and let it rise for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Add 4 tablespoons of oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, add the remaining flour, and pour in 100 ml of warm water.
Step 3
Knead the dough and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
Step 4
Shape the dough into a flatbread, brush it with oil, arrange sliced tomatoes on top, then add sliced mozzarella cheese, season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parmesan and basil, and drizzle with olive oil.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until golden brown - the cheese should melt and become golden.
