Ingredients
- Butter 10 oz
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp 5 oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Paprika a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- King Prawns 6 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the shrimp and let sit for a couple of minutes. Then drain the water and peel the shrimp.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine the peeled shrimp, 200 grams of softened butter (set aside 50 grams), garlic, cream, paprika, pepper, and salt. Blend everything with a mixer until creamy.
Step 3
Melt the remaining 50 grams of butter over low heat. Remove from heat and carefully pour into a small container.
Step 4
Distribute the pâté into ramekins or molds.
Step 5
Pour the melted butter over the pâté in the molds and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
Step 6
When serving, garnish with whole shrimp and a sprig of herbs.
