Hot Crab and Shrimp Appetizer
Ingredients
- Canned Crabs 5 oz
- Shrimp 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Chopped almonds 0 oz
- Feta cheese 10 oz
- Onion 0 oz
- Creamy Horseradish 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in a shallow dish for 1 minute. Mix well with the almonds and toast for 3–5 (6) minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and set aside.
Step 2
Drain the crab and cut into pieces. Rinse and pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel.
Step 3
Mix finely chopped onion, horseradish, and grated feta cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, add the crab and shrimp, and mix everything together.
Step 4
Transfer the mixture to a large dish or individual serving plates.
Step 5
Heat in the microwave on medium power until it starts to bubble; for a large dish, it takes 3–5 (6–8) minutes, for 4 plates — 3 minutes.
Step 6
Sprinkle with toasted almonds and serve hot.
