Homemade pesto sauce

Ingredients

  • Basil 1 bunch
  • Arugula 0 oz
  • Pine nuts 0 oz
  • Olive Oil 5 fl oz
  • Grated Parmesan cheese 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic 3 cloves

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a mortar, crush the basil and pine nuts.

Step 2

Next, add a little oil and continue mixing.

Step 3

Add the arugula and keep grinding.

Step 4

Add a bit more oil to our mixture and, of course, the grated Parmesan.

Step 5

All done! I prefer this method because you can see all the ingredients in your sauce. But you can also just blend everything together. Enjoy your meal!
