  • English Dry Mustard 5 oz
  • 9% Vinegar 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Water ½ cup
  • Bay leaf to taste
  • Honey to taste
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Ground clove to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Add salt and sugar (bay leaf, cloves, honey, and cinnamon if desired) to hot water, and boil for 5–7 minutes. Strain and pour into the mustard powder. Mix thoroughly. Add vegetable oil, vinegar, and mix well again.

Step 2

Let it steep. After a day, the mustard is ready to use.
