Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Water 10 fl oz
- Ground meat 20 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Khmeli-suneli to taste
- Parsley 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil 2 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the pancake batter. Wash the eggs and crack them into a large bowl, then beat with a fork or whisk.
Step 2
Add 160 grams of sour cream to the eggs and whisk again by hand. Gradually incorporate 2/3 of the all-purpose flour and whisk thoroughly to avoid lumps.
Step 3
Bring water to a boil for the dough. Add the boiling water to the mixture, along with the remaining flour, sugar to taste, a pinch of salt, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Whisk well to eliminate any lumps and set aside.
Step 4
Prepare the filling. Boil the carrots, then grate them finely, and chop the parsley.
Step 5
In a preheated skillet with some oil, sauté the ground meat. Then add grated carrots, parsley, salt, and spices. Cook until fully done.
Step 6
Cook the pancakes on a dry skillet, preferably a crepe pan, preheated over high heat. Fry for 1.5 minutes on each side.
Step 7
Lay out parchment paper on a flat surface. Take one pancake and place it on the parchment. Near the edge of the pancake, spoon 2 heaping tablespoons of the warm filling. Fold the bottom edge of the pancake up and roll it. Fold the left and right edges of the pancake towards the center. Roll the pancake into an envelope shape. Repeat the same method to wrap the filling in the remaining pancakes.
Step 8
Place the pancakes on a plate and serve with sour cream.
