- Butter 5 oz
- Herring 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Sliced Processed Cheese 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the carrot until half-cooked and cool it down. Clean the herring from bones and remove the skin.
Step 2
Pass the herring, carrot, processed cheese, and butter through a meat grinder and mix thoroughly. Chill.
Step 3
The finished caviar can be used as a standalone appetizer or for making sandwiches.
