Description
When choosing a container for the oil, pay attention to the neck. The herbs should fit freely in the oil and be easily removed. Canning jars are best for infusing. Then, you can transfer it to beautiful bottles, placing fresh sprigs of herbs inside. You can use thyme, basil, oregano, fennel, or tarragon.
Ingredients
- Olive Oil 10 fl oz
- Herbs to taste
- Garlic to taste
- Green peppercorns to taste
- Ground clove to taste
- Rosemary 1 sprig
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
The bottles for the oil should be very clean and dry, so they need to be thoroughly washed and dried.
Step 2
Place the peppercorns, cloves, and garlic at the bottom of the bottle.
Step 3
Cut the pepper lengthwise.
Step 4
Now begin to add fresh aromatic herbs: parsley, dill, and rosemary.
Step 5
Slowly pour in the warmed olive oil so that it evenly covers all the spices.
Step 6
Seal the bottle, shake it, and place it in a dark place for 2–3 weeks. It can be stored for 2–3 months.
