Ingredients

  • Chicken Egg 3 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Parsley 0 oz
  • Tarragon 1 tablespoon
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Chives 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Beat the eggs in a bowl, preferably with a fork. Add salt and pepper. Beat again.

Step 2

Chop the herbs, but not into dust — keep them coarser. Press the tip of the knife against the table and chop them in a circular motion. Add the herbs to the egg mixture and beat again.

Step 3

Heat the frying pan — it should be warm, not hot, otherwise you'll get that overcooked omelette that doesn't deserve you either in taste or color. Add the butter, and as soon as it melts, pour in the egg mixture and increase the heat. It's best to constantly stir the omelette with a wooden spatula, gathering the edges towards the center.

Step 4

If desired, you can roll it up.

Step 5

Sprinkle grated cheese on top and place it in the oven under the broiler for a few minutes.
