Description
You can use any good oil: I have fresh-pressed olive oil. If the green oil turns out too thick, you can dilute it with regular oil. I diluted it by 1/3. This is a great recipe for using up herbs. It turns out very pleasant and tasty.
Ingredients
- Herbs 5 oz
- Olive Oil 10 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Any mix of herbs (arugula, cilantro, parsley) should be steamed for a couple of minutes.
Step 2
Place in a blender along with the oil and blend for about 10 minutes until a uniform mixture is achieved.
Step 3
Strain through a fine sieve and let it sit for about an hour to allow the oil to separate from the herbs.
