Halibut skewers with bread and bacon

Ingredients

  • Halibut 20 oz
  • Bacon 5 oz
  • Rosemary 3 sprigs
  • French Baguette 1 piece
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Olive Oil 5 tablespoons
  • Flaky sea salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Step 2

Wash the fish and cut it into pieces approximately 5x5 cm.

Step 3

Crush the rosemary leaves, garlic, salt, and olive oil in a mortar (or with a wooden pestle in a regular bowl).

Step 4

Coat each piece of fish in the resulting mixture.

Step 5

Cut the baguette into pieces similar in size to the fish.

Step 6

Alternately thread the bread and fish onto skewers.

Step 7

Place a slice of bacon on top of each skewer.

Step 8

Drizzle with any remaining sauce.

Step 9

Cook for 10 minutes. You can cook it in either an air fryer or an oven. The cooking time is the same, but the air fryer does not need to be preheated.
