Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine the onion, jalapeño peppers, green tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice. Chop and blend into a puree in a blender.
Step 2
Peel the avocados and remove the pits. Cut them into large pieces, drizzling with lime juice to prevent browning. Mix the chopped avocado with the vegetable puree. Season with salt and pepper. It can be served immediately, but if the salad sits in the refrigerator covered for a couple of hours, its flavor and aroma will be richer.
