Grilled Shrimp with Peanut-Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- Cilantro 1 cup
- Grated Ginger Root 2 teaspoons
- King Prawns 24 pieces
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Soy Sauce 5 fl oz
- Peanut Butter 0 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1½ tablespoons
- Sesame Oil 2 tablespoons
- Chili Flakes ½ teaspoon
- Water 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the shrimp, leaving the tails on.
Step 2
Preheat the grill. Brush the grill grate with vegetable oil.
Step 3
In a blender, combine ginger, minced garlic, cilantro, honey, peanut butter, soy sauce, lemon juice, sesame oil, red pepper, and water until smooth.
Step 4
Thread 2 shrimp onto wooden skewers and brush with 0.25 cup of the sauce. Transfer the remaining sauce to a small bowl.
Step 5
Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until done. Serve with the sauce.
