Description
Serve the sauce with grilled ribs, and you can also brush the ribs while cooking.
Ingredients
- Onion 1 head
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Ketchup 10 fl oz
- Campbell's Beef Broth 10 fl oz
- Apple Cider Vinegar 5 fl oz
- Brown Sugar 0 oz
- Ground Cumin ½ teaspoon
- Ground coriander ½ teaspoon
- Celery salt ½ teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper ¼ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small saucepan, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic, seasoning with salt and pepper, for 3–5 minutes until translucent.
Step 2
Add the ketchup, broth, vinegar, sugar, cumin, coriander, celery salt, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for about 30 minutes until thickened.
