Grilled Mussels
Ingredients
- Pasta shells 24 pieces
- Dry White Wine 25 fl oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- White bread 2 slices
- Mild Chili Spice 0 oz
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Lemon 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the grill. Place the mussels in a pot and pour in the wine to completely cover them. Put on the heat and cook for 3–4 minutes. The mussels should open. Discard any that do not open.
Step 2
In a pan, sauté the finely chopped garlic for 1 minute. Transfer to a blender.
Step 3
Rinse the mussels in a colander and let cool for a few minutes.
Step 4
In the blender, add the crustless bread, a pinch of chili, chopped parsley, and blend until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add seasonings to taste.
Step 5
Separate the mussel shells. Arrange the mollusks on a baking sheet and sprinkle with the breadcrumb mixture, completely covering the mussels. Place under the grill for 2 minutes. Serve the cooked mussels on serving plates, garnished with lemon wedges.
