Grilled Bread (Bruschette) with Tomatoes and Basil
Ingredients
- Ciabatta 1 piece
- Garlic 1 clove
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Tomatoes 5 pieces
- Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
- Olive Oil to taste
- Champagne Vinegar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the bread into 1 cm thick slices and grill on both sides. Then rub each slice with garlic, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Step 2
Wash the ripe tomatoes, remove the stem, cut them open, and remove the seeds. Chop the leaves of fresh basil. Place the tomatoes in a bowl and sprinkle with basil, season with salt and pepper, add oil and vinegar. Mix well (you can also lightly crush the tomatoes with a fork). Spoon the mixture onto the pieces of ciabatta.
