Description

The aroma and desired texture of the pepper (not too watery and limp) are easiest to achieve using a stovetop. Note that I did not add salt or spices because I prefer to use this pepper not as a standalone dish, but for fajitas or when preparing buckwheat noodles with vegetables. However, it can also be served as a side dish with grilled vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Sweet Pepper 1 piece
  • Water to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the bell pepper and dry it with a towel.

Step 2

Turn on the stovetop to medium heat and place the pepper directly on the grill. It will blacken and may crack in places. Roast the pepper on each side for 1-2 minutes.

Step 3

Remove the pepper and place it in a plastic bag, then wrap it in foil.

Step 4

After about 20 minutes, take out the pepper and remove the charred parts.

Step 5

I slice the pepper into strips, wrap it in foil again, and place it in the refrigerator. The peak of its flavor is on the second day.
