
Grilled Asparagus with Green Onions

Description
For this dish, you need thick seasonal asparagus; mini asparagus won't work. It's also better to use seasonal green onions with white bulbs. If you don't have a grill, you can do the same in a wok pan, see photo.
Ingredients
- Asparagus 10 oz
- Scallions 5 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon
- Lemon ½ piece
- Fresh basil leaves 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Squeeze the juice from ½ lemon.
Step 2
Finely chop the basil leaves.
Step 3
Trim the tough ends off the green seasonal asparagus.
Step 4
Toss the asparagus and green onions with olive oil and grill in a grill pan or on a rack for 2–3 minutes on each side.
Step 5
Remove from heat and mix with mustard and lemon juice.
Step 6
Sprinkle with finely chopped basil and serve as a side dish to meat.
