
Green Mayonnaise with Fresh Herbs

Description
This mayonnaise pairs wonderfully with <a href="/recipe/1419/">salmon</a>, <a href="/recipe/4262/">shrimp</a>, <a href="/recipe/553/">veal</a>, and <a href="/recipe/5149/">chicken breasts</a>. Optionally, you can add chopped nuts to the mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- Chives 2 tablespoons
- Tarragon 1½ tablespoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves 3 tablespoons
- Chervil 1 tablespoon
- Dill 2 teaspoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise 10 oz
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a blender, combine the herbs and add lemon juice and 0.5 cup of mayonnaise. Blend until smooth, then add the remaining mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Blend again until well combined.
Step 2
Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
