Green chili and cilantro sauce
Ingredients
- Ground ancho chili pepper 6 pieces
- Cilantro 1 bunch
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Spanish onions 1 head
- Olive Oil 2 spoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the seeds and stems from the chili peppers, chop them coarsely, and place them in the blender bowl.
Step 2
Add cilantro (including the stems), garlic, a roughly chopped small white onion, pour in the oil, and add two tablespoons of hot water.
Step 3
Blend into a smooth paste — if the sauce is too thick, add more water. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
