  • Olive Oil 3 spoons
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Chinese green beans 20 oz
  • Sun-Dried Tomatoes 5 pieces
  • Ocean salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Chili Flakes a pinch

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add the beans, and cook for a few minutes until they are almost tender. Drain the water and quickly transfer the beans to a bowl of ice water for about 5 minutes to preserve their color. Drain and dry.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a skillet and add the thinly sliced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Then add the finely chopped tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of water, salt, and both types of pepper.

Step 3

Transfer the beans to a skillet and cook, stirring, for about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and serve warm or at room temperature.
