Green Bean Side Dish
Ingredients
- 10% cream 5 fl oz
- Garlic 1 clove
- Chinese green beans 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the beans in salted water (bring to a boil, then simmer for about 5–7 minutes).
Step 2
Drain the water.
Step 3
In a skillet, heat a little vegetable oil, then add about 15 g of butter.
Step 4
Add the beans and the crushed clove of garlic. Sauté the beans, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown.
Step 5
Add the cream (3/4–1 cup), salt, and simmer the beans. The cream should be absorbed or evaporated.
