Ingredients
- Mussels 20 oz
- Breadcrumbs ½ cup
- Parsley 0 oz
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 3 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thaw the mussels (preferably in the refrigerator). If the mussels are raw, boil them for 3–5 minutes until they open. Discard any that do not open.
Step 2
Mix the breadcrumbs with the herbs, cheese, oil, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
Place the mussels with one shell on a baking sheet sprinkled with sea salt. Fill with the prepared mixture. Bake under the broiler for 5 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with lemon juice on top.
