Gorgonzola and Mascarpone Terrine
Ingredients
- Goat cheese 0 oz
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande 0 oz
- Crème fraîche 0 oz
- Basil 0 oz
- Milk 0 fl oz
- Onion 0 oz
- Gelatin 0 oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper 0 oz
- Pistachios 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the gelatin in water for 10–15 minutes, then dissolve it with the milk.
Step 2
Mix the mascarpone with half of the crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper. Combine with half of the gelatin mixture, pour half into a mold, and let it set.
Step 3
Sauté the onion and pine nuts, finely chop the basil. Mix everything with the melted gorgonzola and pour into the mold over the set mascarpone.
Step 4
Let it set, then pour the second half of the mascarpone. Allow to set for at least 6 hours.
Step 5
Remove from the mold, cut into portions, and serve. Garnish with basil leaves and pine nuts.
