Description

I had a tub of cream cheese in the fridge, which can be replaced with cream or sour cream. I also added a piece of butter, which is not necessary. You can also squeeze a clove of garlic into the sauce.

Ingredients

  • Gnocchi 20 oz
  • Semi-soft cream cheese 5 oz
  • Bacon 5 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Buy ready-made potato gnocchi or prepare them according to a recipe on this site.

Step 2

Boil water as you would for pasta. Add the ready-made gnocchi to the boiling water. Salt the water to taste. Wait until the gnocchi float, then remove them after 2 minutes from the moment they float.

Step 3

At the same time, prepare the cream sauce. On low heat, melt the cheese, adding water to achieve the desired consistency. Add pepper to taste.

Step 4

Once the cheese is melted and has the consistency of a sauce, cut or tear the bacon into small pieces. Add it to the warmed sauce for a minute.

Step 5

Mix the gnocchi with the sauce.
