- Red Wine Vinegar 0 fl oz
- Shallot 25 oz
- Red Grape Juice 15 fl oz
- Salt a pinch
- Sugar 1 teaspoon

Step 1
Place the shallots in a single layer in a skillet, add the remaining ingredients except for the sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook uncovered on low heat for 1 hour.
Step 2
After 30–40 minutes, turn the shallots over. Add the sugar 10 minutes before they are done.
