Ingredients

  • Honey 4 tablespoons
  • Malt Vinegar 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Ginger 5 oz
  • Cilantro 6 tablespoons
  • Ground Nutmeg 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil 5 tablespoons
  • White Pepper (whole) to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the ginger very thinly. The more slices, the richer the flavor will be. Feel free to experiment to your taste.

Step 2

Finely chop the cilantro.

Step 3

Chop the garlic.

Step 4

In a bowl, thoroughly mix honey, wine vinegar, garlic, ginger, cilantro, nutmeg, salt, pepper, and olive oil, but do not use a blender.

Step 5

Place the chicken or shrimp in the marinade, mix well, and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours to 1 day.
