  • Ciabatta 1 piece
  • Butter 3 tablespoons
  • Cheddar cheese 5 oz
  • Mozzarella Cheese 5 oz
  • Parmesan Cheese 5 oz
  • Italian Herb Mix 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic 2 cloves

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the loaf in half. To help the bread absorb the butter better and to easily separate it into segments, make crosswise cuts without cutting all the way through.

Step 2

Make garlic butter by melting about 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat with minced garlic and fresh herbs. Be careful not to burn the garlic pieces, as this can make the butter taste bitter. Once a pleasant aroma arises, remove the butter from the heat.

Step 3

Spread the butter evenly over the surface of the bread cut.

Step 4

Grate the cheese. Distribute a portion of the cheese over the surface of the bread and place everything in a preheated oven at 430°F on the top rack (as close to the heating element as possible). Keep an eye on the cooking process to ensure the cheese and bread do not burn, but rather achieve a nice golden color.
