Fusilli with Tuna Sauce
Ingredients
- Canned tuna in its own juice 1 can
- Onion 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Spiced Tomato Juice 15 oz
- Dried Chamomile 1 teaspoon
- Pickled capers 2 tablespoons
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Pasta shells 15 oz
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Drain the juice from the tuna, mix it with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and place it in a pot. Chop the garlic and slice the onion, then sauté in a pan until light yellow.
Step 2
Add the tomatoes, the chopped tuna, and season with marjoram, salt, and pepper. Cook the sauce on low heat for 25 minutes. At the end, stir in the chopped parsley.
Step 3
Boil the fusilli in salted water until slightly undercooked. Drain and dry.
Step 4
Mix the hot fusilli with the sauce.
